HALLOWEEN 2026

Halloween events for babies and toddlers in London

Nine Halloween outings actually worth leaving the house for

Halloween with a baby or toddler is a slightly different proposition. You want enough going on to justify the journey, ideally before the nap goes sideways, and preferably without spending £70 on a family ticket.

These are the 2026 London plans we would choose, with a South London bias: three easy local wins around Brixton and Brockwell Park, three bigger outings worth making plans for, and three calmer ways to do the dressing-up-and-carving bit without committing to a haunted maze. We have checked the details parents actually need — price, age, booking, buggies, changing, coffee and what happens if October behaves like October.

Before you go

Check age and ticket rules

“Family” doesn’t always mean toddler. Free under-2s may still need a ticket; the Horniman does.

Check the weather

Recheck outdoor events that morning and know the wet-weather fallback before booking.

Horniman is a cultural festival

It’s Day of the Dead, not generic Halloween. Keep the framing respectful.
